My name is Andrea Glassmire, and I am an Assistant Professor of Chemical Ecology at Michigan State University, affiliated with the Departments of Entomology and Plant Biology, as well as the Plant Resilience Institute. As a broadly trained ecologist, my expertise spans community ecology, plant chemistry, experimental design, and statistics. My research explores how plant trait diversity influences interactions among plants, insects, and soil microbes, to better understand insect pest management and biological invasions.
