Welcome

My name is Andrea Glassmire. I am a postdoctoral research associate working with Dr. Jim Cronin at Louisiana State University in the Department of Biological Sciences. I am a broadly trained ecologist with expertise in community ecology, plant chemistry, experimental design, and statistics. I investigate how plant trait diversity shapes plant-insect-soil microbe interactions, insect pest management, and invasion and establishment of non-native species. Specifically, my research examines how plant biochemistry mediates plant interactions with microbes, herbivores, and associated predators to improve pest management strategies and to understand species invasions.
